Pop Up Writing/Art Retreat 6/24 at UC Center for Field Studies

Join Place Keepers, Originary Arts Initiative and the Urban Appalachian Community Coalition for a day of writing, creating, and sharing art at the beautiful grounds of University of Cincinnati’s Center for Field Studies. This space holds rolling meadows, forests, creeks, and ponds–the natural/ecological realm is filled with stories, and the cultural heritage embraces Native cultures and the Shakers, too.

This event is open to writers, visual artists, and musicians. Spots will be capped at 15 participants. They will kick off with an ecology tour and an opening creative prompt. The emphasis will be on personal dedicated time to working on your craft.  The grounds and building spaces shimmer with inspiration. Near the end of the time, a community circle will be held to share and reflect.
