Writing, directing and producing films that promote Appalachian culture and music.

All four of my grandparents were Appalachian musician migrants from Eastern Kentucky. I've devoted my second career as a filmmaker to remembering and celebrating my Appalachian heritage. I also play the banjo and fiddle as a way of carrying on my Appalachian musical heritage.
