Carter Bridge Bluegrass Band is a five member group whose heart is in the music of the original Carter Family. Other favorites include the Stanley Brothers, Ola Belle Reed, Hazel Dickens, as well as contemporary songs and originals. Members include Michael Henson, vocals and guitar; Elissa Pogue, vocals, autoharp and Bass; Tyler Micale, banjo and bass; Jerry Bullmaster, fiddle; and Jeff Trauth, mandolin.

We draw on the core music of the mountains, as expressed in the original Carter Family and extended by the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, Hazel Dickens, and others in a mix that includes traditional ballads, blues, and stories out of today's headlines.
