DESCRIPTION:The Urban Appalachian Community Coalition and the Originary Arts Initiative invite you to attend and participate in virtual open mic events that aim to explore the question: How can creative expression help us to preserve our cherished home places and landscapes? \nThese open mics are targeted toward young artists (teenage-early 20s) who would like to share their poetry\, short prose\, music\, or visual art. \nArtists and audiences gather on the last Wednesday of every month for the rest of the year from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.
